NDA Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the results for National Defence Academy (NDA) examination (I) 2024 soon. Once released, candidates can download the result pdf from the official website of the UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
Last year, the commission announced the NDA result on May 1. However, it is expected that the result will be out in the first week of May 2024.
The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year – April and September. This exam has two phases, a written exam and SSB interviews. The written exam for the April session was conducted on April 21, 2024. Usually, UPSC announces the result for the written exam within 2-3 weeks of the exam.
The NDA result pdf will contain the roll number and names of the candidates selected for the SSB interview. Candidates who clear both the written exam and the SSB interviews are included in the final merit list.
NDA Result 2024: How to check result?
UPSC has conducted the NDA 1 exam 2024 on April 21. This result contains only roll numbers and names of the successful candidates. Candidates can check their result on the official website of the commission. Steps to check NDA results are as given below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) – upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Find the What’s New Section on the homepage of the official website.
Step 3: Click on the Written Result: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024 in the What’s New section.
Step 4: The link for the written result pdf will open. Click on the provided link.
Step 5: Candidates can search their roll number and name in the result pdf.
Step 6: The result document can be downloaded for future use.
NDA Result 2024: What after results?
Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview. UPSC releases the cutoff list only after the completion of the recruitment process. With the conclusion of SSB interviews, the final cutoff as well as the written exam cutoff is released. Along with the cutoff, UPSC also releases the final merit list.
NDA Expected Cut off 2024
Candidates must clear both the written exam cutoff and the final cutoff separately. The Cut off for written exam will not be announced with the written exam result. UPSC will issue the cut off list only after the completion of the recruitment process and release of the final merit list. NDA 1 2024 cutoffs are estimated as follows:

NDA Previous year Cut offs
UPSC releases the cutoff list after the completion of recruitment for one session. Aspirants need to score at least the minimum cutoff marks to be qualified for the next round. Those who clear the written test are allowed to appear in SSB interview and candidates clearing the interview are forwarded to the medical test. Candidates must check the previous year cutoff trend as given below before appearing for the NDA exam 2024.
