The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CTET Result 2024 on January 9, 2024 at the official website – ctet.nic.in. Candidates can now download the scorecard for CTET using their login credentials. Along with the CTET December result 2024, CBSE will also release the CTET final answer key for candidates. Candidates who qualify in the CTET exam will be eligible for teaching jobs across the country.

CTET Result 2024 – Applicability
- The CTET is applicable to schools operated by the Central Government, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools, and schools under the administrative jurisdiction of Union Territories like Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and the NCT of Delhi.
- Unaffiliated private schools have the option to recognize and consider the CTET.
- Schools owned, managed, or funded by State Governments or local bodies are required to consider the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the respective State Government. However, a State Government may opt to recognize the CTET instead of conducting its own TET.
- As per the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, the minimum qualifications for teachers teaching classes I to VIII in CBSE-affiliated schools have been updated. It is mandatory for teachers appointed on or after March 6, 2012, to qualify/pass the CTET or the State-conducted TET, as per the guidelines framed by the NCTE.
Validity of CTET Result 2024
Candidates who qualify in CTET exam 2024 will receive their eligibility certificates. The certificate remains valid for a lifetime. Candidates who qualify in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be able to apply for teaching jobs in schools across the country. The validity of the certificate was earlier 7 years. However, the revision made by CBSE in the regulations for CTET exam stated that “The Validity Period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain valid for life.”
