The Union Public Service Commission can release the UPSC Mains Result 2024 anytime soon on the official website – upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can download the result PDF once it is published on the commission’s website. The PDF will contain the roll number of selected candidates. Further, the commission will release the UPSC Mains result 2024 Name List PDF which will have the names of shortlisted candidates. Last year, the UPSC result for the mains examination was released on December 8. Candidates, this year too, can expect the result to be released around the same time.
Students must note that along with the UPSC mains result, the commission does not release the official answer key. The only time when the answer key is released is after the final result and that too for only prelims exam.
What after UPSC Mains Result 2024?
After the Union Public Service Commission announces the results, candidates who qualify will need to complete the second Detailed Application Form (DAF-II). Those who fill out the form accurately will be invited to participate in the interview or, as officially termed, the personality test. The final result along with prelims answer key is released after the successful conclusion of the interview round.
UPSC Result 2024 – Cut off
The UPSC Cut off 2024 for prelims, mains, and overall is released after the declaration of the final result by the commission on their official website.
