SSC JE Answer Key 2024 Soon at ssc.gov.in; Check how to calculate score

SSC JE Answer Key 2024 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the provisional answer key for SSC JE exam in June 2024. However, the official dates are yet to be confirmed. The answer key will be available in the form of a PDF at the official website – ssc.gov.in. Candidates can visit the official SSC website and login through their exam roll number and password to access the tentative SSC JE answer key.

Any challenges against the tentative answer key shall be submitted online. Candidates will be required to pay INR 100 per question to submit their challenge. The answer key will help candidates in calculating their potential scores in SSC JE 2024.

The Commission will also release the response sheet of each candidate along with the tentative answer key. The link to check the response sheet and SSC JE answer key will be active for only a given time frame. Hence, it is advisable for candidates to take a printout of both.

• Visit the official website – ssc.gov.in
• Click on the link that mentions ‘Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024: Uploading of Candidates’ Response Sheets and Tentative answer keys’.
• A PDF will open in a new window containing the link for SSC JE answer key.
• Click on the given link and enter your credentials such as application number and password.
• The answer key and response sheet will be available in PDF format. 
• Download and take a printout for future reference.

SSC JE Answer Key 2024 – How to calculate score?

Candidates can compare their marked response with the answers provided in the answer key. Calculate the potential scores on the basis of the number of correct and incorrect answers. The marking scheme for SSC JE paper 1 is given below: 

• The paper consists of 200 questions
• 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer
• There is negative marking in the paper. 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer
• No marks are deducted for unanswered questions

By adding up the marks obtained for correct responses and deducted for incorrect responses, candidates can estimate their scores in SSC JE 2024 Paper 1.It  must be noted that marks calculated through the tentative answer key may slightly differ from the final score. 

SSC JE Result 2024

The results for the Junior Engineer recruitment exam are usually released by SSC a few months after the conclusion of the exam.
