SSC CPO Notification 2024: The official notification for SSC Central Police Organisation (SSC CPO) exam is expected to be released on February 15, 2024 by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates interested in giving the SSC CPO exam can access the notification on the official website, ssc.nic.in.

SSC CPO exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police as well as Central Armed Police Force. The application process for SSC CPO exam will commence alongside the release of the official notification at the official SSC website. 

As per the official calendar, SSC CPO application process for the recruitment of SI Delhi Police and CAPF will commence from February 15, 2024. The last date for the submission of application form will be March 14, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online after the release of the official notification at the official website, ssc.nic.in.

The SSC CPO Paper-1 exam will be conducted on May 9, May 10 and May 13, 2024.

SSC CPO Eligibility 2024

The candidates interested in appearing for the SSC Sub Inspector Exam 2024 must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below.

SSC CPO Eligibility: Age Limit 

The minimum age limit for applying for the SSC CPO exam is 20 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxations are provided for Reserved Category students.

SSC CPO Eligibility: Nationality

In order to apply for the SSC Sub Inspector Exam 2024, a candidate must be

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan.
  4. A candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
  5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility 

SSC CPO Eligibility: Educational Qualification

A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a government recognized university in order to apply for the SSC CPO Exam. Additionally, for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, male candidates must possess a valid Driving Licence for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests.

The SSC CPO vacancy for Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Force  will be released alongside the official  notification.
