NEET Result 2024 (Out): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result for the NEET UG exam 2024 today, June 4. NTA has also released the final answer key for NEET earlier today. The NEET result 2024 is released in the form of a scorecard. Along with the NEET results, NTA has also released the list of toppers and cut-off list.

The merit list consists of the NEET AIR (All India Rank) of those candidates who have topped the examination. The ranks are segregated based on gender wise performance, state wise performance and category wise performance. The list of toppers includes the names of best performing candidates in NEET UG exam, along with their percentile and rank achieved.

NEET UG Result 2024 Link Activated
The result for NEET UG exam 2024 has been announced at the official website – exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. To check their results, students will have to log in to the NTA portal using their NEET login details.

A total of 1,196 foreign national candidates registered for NEET UG exam 2024. Out of these, 1,122 candidates appeared and only 694 qualified in the NEET exam.
This year, 66,133 candidates appeared for the NEET UG exam in Delhi. Out of these, 46,794 candidates have qualified in NEET results.

As per the reports, one question in NEET UG paper has 2 options marked correct in the answer. This has made 44 students get their marks increased from 715 to 720.
NEET UG qualifying candidates will now be able to register for the counselling process. The NEET counselling process will help qualifying candidates get admission in medical institutes across the country. The admission process will be conducted based on the NEET cut off and AIR achieved by the candidates.

This year, a total of 67 students have achieved 99.997129 percentile score, putting them at the All India Rank 1 in NEET UG exam 2024.
This year, about 24 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG exam. Check the overall and gender wise performance below:
As per the data released by NTA, 24,06,079 students registered for NEET UG exam 2024. Out of these, 23,33,297 students appeared for the examination on May 5. The exam was conducted in 571 cities, including 14 cities outside India.
NEET UG Counselling process includes:
NEET UG counselling 2024 dates will be released soon by the National Testing Agency on its official website. There will be three rounds of counselling and once stray vacancy round.
NEET result validity is 1 year. In other words, students have to take admission to MBBS programme in the current academic year only.
NTA has not released the name of the NEET toppers yet.

The State quota merit list is prepared by each state for 85 per cent of state quota seats. Only candidates who have qualified for NEET UG and registered for the respective state’s counseling can find their names on this merit list.

NEET Cut off will be released after the counselling rounds. Each participating institute will release the cut off separately for admission to MBBS programme.
