CAT Preparation Week 1

Do’sDon’ts
– Start building expertise on basic concepts. This will require you to thoroughly go through each section and practise basic questions from VARC, DILR, and QA.
– Pay special attention to Quantitative Aptitude questions this week. This section is all about strong calculations and clear concepts. Try to attempt as many mathematics questions as possible to strengthen the basics.
– For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, try to read 2 to 3 passages every day. This will help you develop a faster reading speed and understanding of the language.
– Do not spend too much time on one topic. If you are feeling stuck on one concept, skip it and come back to it later.
– Do not treat one section more important than others. All three sections in the CAT exam carry equal weightage. Practising for all three sections is equally important for students.
