UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the admit card for UGC NET exam 2024 on (date). Candidates appearing for the exam on June 18 can now download their hall tickets from the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates will require their login credentials including application number and date of birth. 

The UGC NET admit card 2024 contains important information about the candidate such as name, date of birth, roll number, examination venue, etc. Apart from this, the hall ticket also carries important exam date guidelines for candidates appearing for UGC NET. UGC NET Exam Day Instructions 2024

The UGC NET exam admit card contains general instructions for students. Candidates appearing for UGC NET exam 2024 must check the following exam day guidelines. 

  • UGC NET candidates are required to carry a hard copy of their hall tickets to the examination venue. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall at least an hour before the exam begins. 
  • Along with the admit card, candidates are also required to carry a valid government issued ID proof to the examination venue. 
  • Carry one passport size photograph (same as the one on your UGC NET admit card). 
  • Read all the instructions on the question paper carefully. In case any candidate gets a question paper of a subject different from their choice, they must report it to the exam centre authorities immediately. 
  • Candidates are required to be seated on the seat numbers allotted to them only. 

UGC NET Exam 2024: Malpractices and Unfair Means

NTA has issued a set of guidelines against using unfair means in the UGC NET exam 2024. Check these instructions carefully below:

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of item which can be used for unfair means in the examination. These items include stationery items, communication devices, accessories, eatable items, ornaments, etc. 
  • Students are not allowed to engage with other participants during the exam shift hours. 
  • Misbehaviour with any of the NTA staff or candidates at the UGC NET exam venue is also considered as a malpractice.
