SSC JE Exam 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates for SSC JE at ssc.nic.in. As per the SSC Calendar 2024, the commission will be starting registration for the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) on February 29, 2024. SSC JE notification will also be released on the same day. The registration process will continue till March 29, 2024.
SSC has not confirmed the official date as of now. However, as per the calendar, SSC JE exam is tentatively scheduled for May-Jun, 2024. Candidates will be updated with the official dates as soon as they are announced at ssc.nic.in
Candidates preparing for the SSC JE exam must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus. The commission will release the pattern and syllabus for SSC JE along with the notification. Meanwhile, students can check the details of existing exam pattern.
SSC JE Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC JE Exam is divided into two parts. In Paper-I, candidates will answer objective questions, and for every wrong answer, they lose 0.25 marks. Paper-II is a descriptive paper. Candidates can choose to answer the questions in either English or Hindi, as both languages are available for both papers.
