NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee or MCC has started the application process for NEET PG counselling round 2 today at nbe.edu.in. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round can participate in MCC counselling round 2. The last date to register for round 2 is December 9, 2024.
The MCC will begin the choice filling process December 5, 2024 onwards. Candidates participating in NEET PG counselling round 2 will be required to fill in their preferences during this process. The seats will be offered to participants based on their choices filled.
Who is eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling round 2?
The following categories of candidates will be eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling round 2:
- Those candidates who were not allotted any seat in NEET PG counselling round one
- Candidates who were allotted seat in round one but was cancelled during the physical document verification process
- Candidates who wish to upgrade their allotted seat in the NEET PG round one counselling
- Candidates who chose the ‘free exit’ option or did not participate in the first round of counselling
How to register for NEET PG counselling 2024?
Candidates who qualified in NEET PG exam will be able to register for counselling process online by following the instructions given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the “PG Medical” tab
Step 3: Click on the link for “New Registration 2024” under the “Candidate Activity Board”
Step 4: Now, the following login window will appear on your screen
Step 5: Register by entering all the required information
Step 6: Pay the counselling registration fee
NEET PG counselling 2024: Seat allotment result
The seat allotment list for NEET PG counselling round 2 will be released on December 12, 2024. Once the result is released, candidates who are allotted seats will be required to physically report to their respective colleges. The reporting will begin December 13 onwards and will continue till December 20, 2024. Meanwhile, those candidates who are not allotted any seats will be eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling round 3.
