The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams in 2024. The board will conduct the matric and inter exams between February 15 and April 10, 2024. Recently, CBSE released an important notice for class 12 students appearing for the accountancy subject.
CBSE Revises Answer Sheet Pattern
According to the official notification, CBSE will now remove the answer books in which tables were given in the accountancy subject. This decision was made based on feedback received from stakeholders. Starting from the 2024 board examinations, normal lined answer books, similar to those provided in other subjects in Class 12, will be given in the Accountancy subject as well.
The official notification reads, “It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024, CBSE, based on feedback received from stakeholders, has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lined Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class 12 will be provided in the Accountancy subject also.”
Meanwhile, the exam conducting body has yet to announce the CBSE Class 10 and 12 date sheet. Once CBSE announces the date sheet, candidates will be able to check and download the exam timetable from the official website of CBSE, which is https://www.cbse.gov.in. After the release of the date sheet, the board will also release the CBSE class 10, 12 admit card 2024. These admit cards can be downloaded from the official website, and students can access them by visiting the CBSE login page.
As the board exams are approaching, students are advised to intensify their preparation. Students appearing for the class 10 and 12 board exams are recommended to prepare using CBSE’s previous year’s question papers. This will help candidates familiarize themselves with the types of questions asked in the examination. Additionally, practicing with the previous year’s question papers can also improve their writing skills.
