Here is a list of the scholarships that students can apply for after completing their Class 10th.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship – This scholarship is provided to Single Girl child students who have passed the CBSE Class X Examination with 60% or more marks. Such students must be studying Class XI & XII in School (affiliated with CBSE) whose tuition fee is not more than INR 1500 per month. Students can find the detailed notification on cbse.gov.in.
Vidyadhan Scholarship – This scholarship is provided by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation to meritorious students from economically weaker sections. Students must have attained 90% marks (75% in case of PwD candidates) in Class 10th board exams. Students can visit the official website – vidyadhan.org for further information.
NCERT Scholarship – NCERT conducts the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for Class 10th students. The exam is conducted in two stages – first stage is state level Talent search examination while the second stage is National Talent Search Examination. Post Matric Scholarship – This scholarship is for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other minority communities. The scholarship provides financial aid to students of minority communities belonging to lower income backgrounds. More information is available on scholarship portals of various states.
IOCL Scholarship – Under the IndianOil Educational Scholarship Scheme, students pursuing 10+, ITI, Engineering, MBBS & MBA Streams are offered scholarships on the merit-cum-means basis. Students must be pursuing full time/regular courses in schools/institutions recognised by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards/State Technical Education Boards / ICSE / ISC / CBSE to be eligible for this scholarship. Jio Scholarship – Provided by the Reliance Group, this scholarship aims to support students aspiring to pursue higher education and in need of financial assistance.
