A total of 1475 IIT Bombay students were placed during the recruitment process. Furthermore, 78 offers were made from International firms.

As per the official report, as many as 388 companies participated in the placement process, out of which 364 made offers.

The overall average package offered to the students of IIT Bombay stood at 23.5 LPA while the median salary offered was 17.92 LPA.

The placement process saw participation from multiple sectors including Core Engineering, Information Technology, Software programming, Research and Development, Consulting, Finance, Banking, High-end Technology, and Technical Services

As many as 558 job offers were made to students with a salary compensation of over 20 lakhs per annum.

From the B.Tech programme, 152 female students and 531 male students were placed this year.
