National Means cum Merit Scholarship
National Means cum Merit Scholarships are awarded to deserving Class 8 students each year. A sum of Rs 12,000 per annum is granted to meritorious students in need of financial assistance. The exams are conducted on the state level by various SCERTs. -
National Scholarship for Post-Graduate Studies
An initiative under UGC, the scholarship provides financial assistance to Indian students leading to award of Postgraduate Degree. Selected candidates will receive an amount of Rs 1,50,000 per annum for a tenure of 2 years. The age limit for the scholarship is 30 years. -
Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region (NER)
Students who have passed Class 12th or equivalent from a school situated in the NER through a recognised board and are currently admitted in the first year of UG degree (full time/regular) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The family income of the student should be less than Rs 4.5 LPA. Selected candidates will receive a sum of Rs 80,000 per annum for a tenure of 3-5 years. -
Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students
Implemented by AICTE, the scholarship scheme encourages Girl Child to pursue a technical education. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The scholarship will cover tuition fees of Rs 30,000 along with Rs 2,000 per month as incidental expenses for 10 months each year. -
Scholarship for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities
The scheme aims to promote quality education amongst students with disabilities by providing financial assistance for PG degree/Diploma in premier institutes like IIT, IIM, NIT etc. Students with at least 40% disability selected to study in specified institutes can apply for this scholarship. The annual income of the parents/guardians of the student shall not exceed Rs 6 lakhs. The scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly allowance, special allowances related to disabilities, books, stationery, and other expenses. -
Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Differently Abled Students
The scholarship scheme encourages specially abled students to pursue a technical education. Family income of the student must be less than Rs 8 lakhs. Candidates should be enrolled in 1st year degree or diploma course in an AICTE approved institution. The scholarship will cover tuition fees of Rs 30,000 along with Rs 2,000 per month as incidental expenses for 10 months each year
