The registration window for admission to UG programs in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) closed on August 12, 2024. The official authorities will now release merit lists for various UG courses. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process. Candidates can check the subsequent steps in the BHU admission process on the basis of CUET UG 2024.

BHU admissions will be conducted on the basis of normalised scores obtained in CUET 2024. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the UG program specified by the University.

Seats will be allotted on the basis of merit secured in CUET exam, category of the candidate and availability of seats. Students who have been allotted seats can accept the seat and complete the admission formalities, including payment of the admission fee.

Once seat allotment results are released, candidates who have not been allotted seats can upgrade or lock their choices.

Candidates who have been granted the provisional admission will be called for counselling. They must obtain their provisional admission letter and attend the counselling session as per the schedule.

Once candidates obtain the admission letter, they can proceed to pay the requisite fees.

During the counselling process, students will be required to carry their original documents for verification to the designated faculty/department.
