SSC GD Result 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be releasing the result for SSC GD Constable Exam soon in May 2024. Candidates who will clear the written exam will be shortlisted for the physical examination. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the two physical tests – Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test(PET).
SSC GD Examination is conducted for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles. Candidates who get selected for PST and PET have to go through the biometric verification before the physical test. These physical tests will be conducted at various centres finalised by CAPFs.
SSC GD 2024 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The SSC GD Exam process consists of a written exam and physical and medical examination. The written computer based test was held in March 2024. The result for the same is expected soon. Candidates who clear the written exam qualify for the physical test round. The physical test consists of PET and PST.
SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test (PET) consists of a race within a given time limit.
The race distance is different for male and female candidates. Some relaxations are given to candidates belonging to the Ladakh region. The detailed information about the race is given in the table below.

SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) consists of the Height, Weight and Chest Size requirements of the candidates.

3. Weight:
The weight of all the Candidates should be in proportion to height and age as per medical standard.
