The registration deadline for GATE 2024, with the option of late registration, is set to conclude on October 20, 2023. Students who have not yet applied for the examination still have the opportunity to do so until the same date.
For late registrants, there is a late application fee of INR 2300 per test paper in the case of General and OBC candidates. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Female categories, the late registration fee is INR 1400 per test paper.

After the conclusion of the GATE 2024 registration, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will provide an application correction window for applicants. These correction window dates for GATE 2024 are scheduled from November 7 to November 11, 2023. Students must know that they will be charged with the modification fees. How to Fill GATE 2024 Application Form?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill out the GATE application form 2024:
- Visit the official website of GATE 2024, https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/
- Click on the GATE 2024 Apply Online Link
- Register yourself with Email ID and Password
- Once successfully registered, login with the set credentials
- Fill out personal details like name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ name, parents’ mobile number, etc.)
- Fill out the Eligibility degree details
- Enter the paper choice and their respective codes
- Choose THREE preferred examination cities (from the same zone)
- Pay the application fee as required and submit the form.
