The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is preparing to announce the commencement of the Assam Board 12th registration process for 2024. Registration for class 12th is scheduled to commence on November 1, 2023. Furthermore, the exam conducting body has yet to release the Assam HS exam date for 2024. It is anticipated that the class 12 exams will be held between February and March 2024.
The last date for filling out the Assam HS registration form for 2024 has been set as November 30, 2023. Students will have the option to complete the registration form online. Additionally, the exam board has requested the heads of institutions to inform students about the registration process.
It is worth noting that the council is planning to hold the Higher Secondary Final Examination for 2024 in February/March 2024. In this regard, the process of online form fill-up will commence on November 1, 2023, and conclude on November 30, 2023, as stated in an official notice by AHSEC.
“The respective portal for online form fill-up will be opened in due course of time and will be intimated to the institutions,” added the board.
Students who successfully pass their class 11th exams will be permitted to appear for the Assam HS exam in 2024. Additionally, as per the details provided, the Board intends to introduce an OMR sheet for answering objective questions, each worth 1 mark, in the HSLC examination. The OMR sheet will be personalized, with one allocated to each candidate.
Regarding the remaining 50 per cent of questions, candidates will receive individual answer scripts comprising 16 pages, maintaining the previous format. For further information on this matter, candidates can refer to the AHSEC official website.
Furthermore, candidates with a parental income of Rs 2,00,000 or less who also belong to the government, provincialized, or recognized private schools or colleges will be exempt from paying the exam and centre fees.
