Officer in Grade B (DR)- DSIM: Eligibility

To be eligible for RBI Grade B Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM, candidates must have the qualifications mentioned below:

  • A master's degree in statistics, mathematical statistics, mathematical economics, econometrics, statistics and informatics, or applied statistics and informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the combined fields of statistics, mathematic statistics, and informatics in all years or semesters

  • A Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the cumulative assessment of all semesters. Additionally, candidates should have completed a one-year post-graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed Institute.

OR

  • Master's degree course in Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics is to have a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the overall aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized University or Institute of national importance. The course should also be approved by UGC/AICTE.

OR

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years in Data Science/ AI/ ML/ Big Data Analytics from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme

OR

Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the overall aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized University or Institute of national importance. The program should also be approved by UGC/AICTE.

Officer in Grade B (DR)– DEPR: Eligibility

RBI DEPR Eligibility includes various qualification parameters. To be eligible for this post, applicants must meet the following RBI Grade B Eligibility conditions:

  • Possession of a Master's Degree in Econometrics/Finance/Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Mathematical Economics/Quantitative Economics, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University.

OR

  • Holding a PGDM/MBA in Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters from a recognized University.

OR

  • Having a Master's Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics, with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters from a recognized University.

Candidates with a Master's Degree and research/teaching experience at a recognized University/Institute will be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit for the number of years of such experience, up to a maximum of three years. The probationary period will not be considered for experienced candidates.

RBI Grade B Age Limit 2023
