UGC NET Exam 2026: Reporting Time, Subject-Wise Schedule, Documents to Carry

The UGC NET Exam 2026 will be conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026. Candidates must be up to date with all details from reporting time to important documents.

According to the schedule released by NTA, the UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. The reporting time for shift 1 is 7 AM and for shift 2 is 1 PM.

Shift 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and Shift 2 will be conducted from 3PM to 6PM. Candidates should reach the examination centre well before the reporting time to complete security checks and verification procedures.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination will begin with several subjects scheduled across both shifts on the first day.

Shift 1 will have subjects such as Political science, Arabic, Nepali, Manipuri, Santali and Indian Knowledge System.

Shift two will have subjects such Commerce, Telugu,Home Science, Electronic Science, Environmental Sciences and Criminology

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the UGC NET 2026 admit card,Passport-sized photographs (same as uploaded on the application form),Government-issued photo identity proof and PwD/PwBD certificate, if claiming relaxation under PwD/PwBD category.

Candidates are advised to report early to ensure proper frisking. Candidates must also ensure to read all the instructions released by NTA carefully before reporting to the centre.
