Australia

The Australian government has introduced changes in English Proficiency Test Score requirements. International students require a higher test score in English proficiency Tests such as IELTS, TOEFL and Duolingo English Test.

Australia

1. The minimum score for a Temporary Graduate visa will increase from an IELTS score of 6.0 to 6.5 and the minimum score for a student visa will increase from a 5.5 to 6. 2. Genuine Student Test will be introduced which will replace Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement to verify that post-study temporary migration may be available to eligible candidates.

 The Uk government has announced a ban on international students bringing their families unless they are migrating for postgraduate research degrees.

UK

1. The two year Post study work (PSW) visa will also be reviewed 2. The visa fee has also been raised for international students by nearly £127.

UK

The post-secondary Designated Learning Institutions are mandated to directly verify every applicant’s letter of acceptance with IRCC to safeguard prospective students from letter of acceptance fraud.

Canada

1. A review will be conducted for the Post-Graduation Work Permit program. 2. The cost of living requirement will also be raised for international students from 10,000 Canadian Dollars to 20,635 Canadian Dollars.

1. The French government has increased the two year post study work visa to five years for International students pursuing Master’s degree. 2. The students who have spent a minimum of a semester in the country pursuing Master’s can apply for a five-year short-stay Schengen visa and explore job opportunities.

France

Indian students are now permitted to stay in Italy for an additional 12 months after the completion of their degree.

Italy

1. Students who have completed a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree can now stay in the country for a period of two years which was earlier one year for UG students. 2. A PhD student can stay in the country for a period of three years after the completion of their degree.

Ireland

The New Zealand government announced that it will now accept the IELTS One Skill Retake Test which provides the international applicants the option to retake the exam in any one of the following skills: Listening, reading, writing or speaking.
