NIRF Rankings 2024 - Top Engineering Colleges 

IIT madras tops the list of top engineering colleges. The institute ranked first in the last year’s rankings as well 

At 2nd position is Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. IIT Delhi has maintained its rank at number 2 for the last 3 years. 

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay bags 3rd position in the NIRF rankings for Engineering. IIT Bombay has maintained last year’s position

At 4th position is Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. In the previous year too, IIT Kanpur ranked at number 4 in the NIRF rankings 

At Rank 5 is Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Among Engineering colleges, IIT Kharagpur has moved up a position from last year

Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee occupies the 6th position, slipping down from last year;s number 5 in the Engineering category 

Maintaining its position at Rank 7, we have Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. In last year’s rankings too, IIT Guwahati occupied the 7th position 

National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli occupies the 8th position. It has moved up two positions from Rank 10  to Rank 8
