New Zealand has introduced immigrant-friendly changes to the Post Study Work (PSW) visa, ensuring students completing a Master’s after a Postgraduate Diploma remain eligible for a PSW visa

International students completing a 30-week postgraduate diploma and progressing immediately to a Master’s degree can apply for a PSW visa, even with limited Master’s enrollment duration

A three-year PSW visa requires 30 weeks of full-time Master’s study in New Zealand. Applicants must meet minimum study durations and apply within the specified timeframe

New Zealand updated PSW-eligible qualifications to align with the Green List, offering more opportunities for graduates in education, engineering and other priority areas
