NTA is set to conduct the NEET UG entrance exam on May 4, 2025 for admissions to UG medical courses. Take a look at the dress code, rules that candidates must follow on the day of the exam

Candidates must dress in light clothes without too many pockets or zips. Heavy clothes and long sleeves are not permitted

Candidates must wear slippers and sandals with low heels. Shoes are not permitted as per the dress code specified by the NTA

Candidates wearing articles or objects of faith – customary, cultural or religious should report at the exam centre early to ensure proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate

If upon screening, any candidate is suspected of carrying a device within such item of faith, he/she may be asked not to take it into the examination hall

Students are not allowed to carry any instruments, geometry/pencil box, handbag or purse inside the examination hall

Any kind of paper, stationery or textual material either printed or written is prohibited. Eatables either packed or loose will not be allowed inside the exam hall

In case of diabetic candidates, eatables with prior intimation like sugar tablets and fruits – banana, apple or orange and transparent water bottles are allowed

Electronic devices like mobile phones, earphones, pager, calculator, log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, and any other metallic items are strictly prohibited
