The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has declared the KVS Lottery Result 2026 for Class 1 today, on April 9, 2026 at its official website - kvsangathan.nic.in.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has introduced the Balvatika system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. ‘Balvatika’ refers to the pre-primary education system. The KVS Lottery Result acts as an important gateway for students to get admission into the esteemed institution.

By applying online, prospective parents can get their ward enrolled in Class 1 in any Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) across India. The institute has released the provisional selection list online for students and their respective parents to check.

All the parents who had applied online for their child’s KVS Lottery Admission for the academic year 2026-27 can now check the result online as it has been uploaded today. Parents can refer to the next slide to know the steps below to check the results.

1. Go to the official website - kvsangathan.nic.in or admission.kvs.gov.in. 2. Click on the active link available for KVS Lottery Admission 2026-27. 3. Select Balvatika-1 or Balvatika-2, as per your application. 4. Choose the KV institute for which you had applied 5. The provisional selection list will appear on the screen 6. Use ‘CTRL + F’ to search your ward’s name.

Parents should note that the inclusion of their child’s name does not guarantee their admission into the institute. The admission is subject to the document verification procedure. Interested parents should submit all the documents in the time frame stipulated by the institute for a successful admission process.
