The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will not release the 2nd PUC results today, April 7, as previously anticipated. Students must wait a bit longer for their scores.

The declaration is currently on hold pending clearance from the Election Commission of India (ECI). Because the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is in force, the board requires formal permission before making any major government announcements.

Under the MCC, the government must avoid any actions or announcements that could potentially influence voters. This includes the release of major examination results, which must be vetted to ensure complete neutrality during the election period.

The evaluation process is already 100% completed. Sources indicate that the digital infrastructure, including the uploading of marks and preparation of result links, is fully in place.

While April 7 was the initial target, reports now suggest the results could be declared as early as April 8, 2026, or shortly after the ECI grants its "No Objection" certificate.

This year, a total of 7,10,363 candidates registered for the 2nd PUC exams across 5,174 colleges. The exams were held between February 28 and March 17 at 1,217 centers statewide.
