The second shift of JEE Main 2025 was conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM on January 22, 2025. The exam comprises of three sections - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Each subject consisted of 25 questions, including 20 MCQs and 5 numerical value questions. The total exam duration was 3 hours, with a maximum score of 300 marks

Physics section was moderate in difficulty level. Questions were asked from Mechanics, Waves, Magnetism and Modern Physics. The section was well-balanced with theoretical and application-based questions

Chemistry section was relatively easy and consisted of more theoretical-based questions. A significant share of the questions were asked from Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

Mathematics posed a higher difficulty level for students and was lengthy, with questions from Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Quadratic Equations, Vectors and 3D Geometry
