The eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2025 has been revised as authorities have increased the maximum number of attempts to three this year

As per the new guidelines, a candidate can attempt JEE Advanced maximum of three times in three consecutive years

To appear for JEE Advanced, candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech of JEE Main 2025

As per the age limit criteria, candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates

Further, a candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with PCM as compulsory subjects
