The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi’s placement drive for the academic session of 2025-26 started on a strong note, with a significant rise in pre-placement offers, and international hiring opportunities.

In the placement drive which will continue till May 2026, IIT Delhi has already recorded more than 1,275 job offers, with over 1,140 students placed during the ongoing recruitment season.

As per the press release, the institute has reported an impressive 33% increase in pre-placement offers, as students received more than 300 PPOs from top companies.

Many International recruiters from countries such as Japan, the UAE, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the UK have also participated actively this year and offered opportunities to 35 students.

Many leading global companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Qualcomm also showed interest in the IIT Delhi placement drive.

Technology, finance, consulting, analytics, and core engineering emerged as the most actively recruiting sectors during the placement session at IIT Delhi.

As per the IIT Delhi’s Office of Career Services (OCS), recruiters applauded students for their strong academic background, adaptability, and industry-apt skills.

This placement drive of academic session 2025-26 at IIT Delhi will continue till the end of May 2026, with more companies and job offers coming in.
