Understand the exam format - Familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria, types of questions, time constraints, and scoring system.
Start early- Start your preparation from Class 11th. CUET domain subjects have topics from grade 11 such as ‘Computerize Accounting System’ in Accountancy, ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ in Business Studies and ‘Consumer Behaviour and Demand’ in Economics.
Enhance general knowledge and stay updated with current affairs- Regularly read newspapers, magazines, and online news portals to improve your general knowledge and help you prepare for questions related to current affairs at the national and global levels.
Study Schedules- Create SMART( Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) study schedules. And then execute this study schedule with diligence. Develop a structured study schedule that allocates sufficient time for each component of the exam.
Follow the PQRST ( Preview,Question, Read, Summary, Test) approach- Glance through the content, create probate questions, read related material, draft ways to summarize which may include notes to mind maps to mnemonics and then do self assessment.
Use the Analogy technique- Create a reference of words, information and dates in the syllabus with your own life, e.g. dates in topic with special dates of your loved ones. This will lead to retention of information for a long time.
Practice Spacing- This will help you split one long session into smaller sessions in a day. This will help you to remember and recall topics for a longer period of time.
