The National Testing Agency (NTA) has earlier started the application process for CUET PG 2024 exam from December 26, 2023. But there are a few changes that have been introduced by the NTA.

1. CUET PG new website

The CUET PG 2024 application process was earlier hosted on cuet.nta.nic.in. But now the CUET PG official website will be pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

2. CUET PG application fee hiked

The NTA has hiked the registration fees for all categories by Rs. 200 compared to last year for Indian students.

Application fee (for up to two test papers): Rs 1200 For additional test paper: Rs 600

International applicants applying for up to two tests will be charged Rs. 6000, with an additional Rs. 2000 for each extra paper. Previously, the charges stood at Rs. 5000 and Rs. 1500 respectively.

3. No. of test papers

– Candidates are now allowed to choose a maximum of 4 test papers. – Unlike previous years, there won't be a general test associated with each paper; however, candidates can opt for a General paper as a subject. – During registration, candidates can specify their preference for English or Hindi for the comprehension section of these two General papers.

4. CUET PG exam duration

Earlier the exam duration was 120 minutes, but now it has been reduced to 105 minutes. It will be conducted in three shifts from: – 1st shift: 9 am to 10:45 am – 2nd shift: 12:45pm to 2:30pm – 3rd shift: 4:30pm to 6:15pm

5. CUET PG exam questions

CUET PG exam questions have been reduced to 75 MCQs from 100 MCQs in 2023.

6. Exam cities reduced

CUET PG exam centres have also reduced from 337 in 2023 to 300 in 2024.
