CBSE Mandates 3-Language Formula for Class 9; No R3 From Class 10 Board Exams

The Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, announced that next year onwards, the NEET UG Exam will be conducted through Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode to reduce the possibility of question paper leaks.

The third language has been exempted from the Class 10th board. There will be no external board exam for the third language.

Schools have been asked to update their language options on the board’s OASIS portal by June 30.

While it won't affect board exam eligibility, your R3 internal grades will be officially printed on your final CBSE Class 10 certificate.
