CBSE Exams 2024: Board issues warning against fake information

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a warning regarding the spread of rumors and misinformation about the imminent board examinations for Classes 10 and 12

The CBSE's annual board exams for 10th and 12th classes are slated to take place from February 15 to April 2

During previous exam periods, there have been numerous instances where false information has been spread through social media platforms

This false information includes erroneous assertions of having access to exam question papers

Miscreants spread fake links to sample papers, falsely claiming that exam questions will be based on them. They also circulate fake pictures/videos of question papers, suggesting access in exchange for payment

CBSE further stated that students found spreading false information will face consequences under UNFAIR MEANS regulations and relevant sections of the IPC
