CBSE has announced the results for Classes 10th and 12th on May 13, 2025. The board will not publish merit lists for board exams to discourage unhealthy competition among students
Instead, the board will issue merit certificates only to the top 0.1% scorers in each subject

The CBSE Class 10 pass percentage this year stood at over 93%, while Class 12 had a pass percentage of 88.39%, with girls outperforming boys

A total of 1.11 lakh students scored above 90% in Class 12 exams, slightly lower than last year. Around 2 lakh students scored above 90% in Class 10 exams

The Vijayawada region achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.60% in Class 12th. Meanwhile, Trivandrum region attained the highest pass rate (99.79%) in Class 10th

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas led among schools, while private schools recorded the lowest institutional performance
