CBSE is continuously facing criticism for discrepancies in the display of answer sheets after the board adopted an on-screen marking system this year. A new allegation of a change in the answer sheet has been made by a student.

Vedant Srivastva of class 12th has alleged that his physics copy has been changed. Vedant alleges that after downloading his physics answer sheet, he found out that the copy was not his.

Vedant also claimed that this discrepancy has negatively affected his performance. He claimed that because of this, he is not able to score 75% in aggregate in PCM.

Another X user named Sanjana claimed that after downloading the copies, her scanned copy of the chemistry sheet she received does not match with her handwriting or written responses.

The Centre has intervened, sending experts from IIT Madras and Kanpur to address issues. Four public sector banks are helping strengthen the payment gateway. The application portal for obtaining photocopies of scanned answer sheets closes on May 25, with a fee of INR 100.

This year, CBSE introduced On-Screen Marking to make evaluation faster and more transparent, but evaluation-related discrepancies, delays in display of copies, failure of the portal has negatively marked this change
