‘Board Exams to be conducted twice’, says Union Education Minister

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that Class 10th and 12th students will get an option to appear twice a year for the board examinations Books

This pattern of examination will be implemented from the academic session 2025-26

The decision to conduct board exams twice a year aims to reduce the academic stress on students and is compliant with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 Books

It also ensures that students get ample time and opportunity to perform well in the examination

The students will be able to retain the best marks obtained after appearing in the two sessions

According to the Union Education Minister, the vision through the NEP is to keep the students “stress free” and “enrich them with quality education” Books
