According to the Campus Workforce Trends 2025 report by Deloitte India’s Human Capital team, the Campus hiring in 2025 shows the increase in the trust of employers in the evolving talents.

In 2025, there is a hike of 3.91 percent campus placement salaries as the hiring budget has risen by nearly 15% percent showing the increased confidence of employers.

The pre-placements offers (PPOs) have shown an increase of about 24% in the recent times.

The campus hiring process is now expected to involve as much as 38 percent of GenAI use for resume screening, assessments and evaluations.

About 87% of engineering students are developing their AI/ML and data science skills in this AI driven technological transformation helping them in securing a pay premiums of 15 to 20 percent.

The highest paying skills in campus placements are cybersecurity and robotics. It has seen a surge of 10 to 20 percent pay premiums recently.

For the fifth consecutive year, Bangalore is the top choice for the fresh graduates, followed by Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR.

The Campus graduates are still inclined towards the technology sector followed by the Financial Services (FS). Consumer products and Manufacturing are opted least.

The MBA graduates’ top choices are  management consultants and product managers, while fresh techies prefer software development engineer and data scientist roles.

With the increased confidence in campus hiring process and smarter screening and higher retention by the employers, the campuses have seen a significant drop in the attrition rate.
