DMIHER University P.hD admissions

DMIHER provides structured Ph.D. programs in medicine, dentistry, allied health sciences, public health, nursing, pharmacy, management, and biomedical sciences.  Admission to the Ph.D. programs is conditional based on an annual notification call for applications through a structured and formal process along with the DMIHER Ph.D. Regulations. Relevant postgraduate qualification, with the required minimum marks, is compulsory for eligibility. Admission is at the university level by way of an annual entrance examination (AIPHDCET) and an interview. A student who has a national fellowship (i.e. NET-JRF, GATE or DBT) may want to be exempt from the entrance exam. Admission is conditional based on the entrance and interview, after which, the selected candidates perform counselling, registration, and assignment of research supervisor.  As a university, DMIHER supports a good research system with an emphasis on quality, ethics, and scholarly innovation.
