UPPSC Result 2023: Prelims (Out), Mains Dates, Cutoff

Latest Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) declared the results of the main examination for Judicial Services Civil Judge Junior Division (PCS-J) - 2022 on 1st August 2023. A total of 959 candidates successfully qualified in the examination and are now eligible to move forward to the interview round. However, the dates for the interviews have not been announced yet. Once the interviews are conducted, the final selection will fill a total of 303 vacant posts through this process.

On June 26, 2023, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) announced the UPPSC PCS Prelims result. 4,047 candidates in total have qualified for the 2023 Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Mains examination. UPPSC Result 2023: UPPSC or the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission selection process for various government positions is determined by the UPPSC result. Each exam round, namely the Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview have independent results. The exam conducting body posts the results on its official website, where applicants can access them by providing their registration details. The UPPSC 2022 result was declared in February 2023 and a total of 627 candidates were recruited for various roles.

For the year 2023, the UPPSC PCS Prelims result was released on 26th June. For the mains round, the exam result is expected to release by October 2023 after the mains exam is conducted. The Prelims exam was administered for 5,65,459 candidates who had applied for the exam online but only 3,45,022 of them attempted the paper. Generally, within two months of the exam date, the UPPSC results for the preliminary examination are released for different job posts. Those applicants who clear the prelims exam are then qualified to take the main exam. Similarly, for the Mains exam, the result is declared within two to three months after the conduction of the exam two to three months after the exam date, and the UPPSC results for the Main Examination are released. Following the Main Examination, qualified students are invited to the interview. Two to three weeks after the interview, the final merit list is released.

The performance of the candidates in the mains and the interview round of the selection process is taken into account while calculating the UPPSC result. The Prelims score is only considered to determine who is eligible to attempt the mains exam. What happens after the UPPSC Result?

If the candidate has cleared all phases of the selection process his/her name will be included in the merit list. The names of applicants who will be hired for a variety of positions in Uttar Pradesh and work with the state government will be included in the final list. If a candidate is selected, he or she should retain all the documents on hand for the documents' final verification process.
