The RRB Group D 2025 application form has started at rrbapply.gov.in. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification for the RRB Group D recruitment 2025. The registration process for the exam started on January 23, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for various posts in the Indian Railways till March 1, 2025.

RRB Group D 2025 Notification

The Railway Recruitment Board has released a detailed notification on RRB Group D 2025 recruitment. This year 16 zones of the Indian Railways have released more than 32000 vacancies for various posts in Level 1 such as Assistant Bridge, Hospital Assistant, Workshop Assistant, and Track Maintainer. 

Candidates can apply for the RRB Group D 2025 exam at the official website. Before registering for the exam, candidates must go through the detailed notification of the exam. It contains details about various stages of the recruitment process, eligibility, selection criteria and procedure to apply. RRB Group D Application 2025: Steps to Apply

The application process for the RRB Group D 2025 exam is ongoing. Candidates applying for the RRB Group D 2025 recruitment must follow the steps listed below.

Step 1 - Visit the official website: Go to the official website - rrbapply.gov.in. You can also apply from the regional RRB website of your zone.

Step 2 - Click on Apply tab: Look for the tab to apply. On the top right corner of the homepage, there is a tab called “Apply”. Click on this tab. 

Step 3 - Registering for the exam: On clicking the Apply Tab, there is an option to “Create an Account” or login through your already existing account. If a candidate has already created an account for any Indian Railways exam of 2024, the same account credentials can be used to log in and apply for RRB Group D 2025 exam. However, those who have not created an account previously, they have to first create an account. The details entered at this stage cannot be edited later.

Step 4 - Login using credentials: Once you have registered to the RRB website with your personal information, email and mobile number, login into your account with mobile number or email address and password. During registration, candidates must verify their Aadhar by providing their Aadhar details. 

Step 5 - Fill the Application Form: After logging in, fill in the application form with personal, educational, and contact information.

Step 6 - Upload Photograph and Signature: The next step is to upload the correct size of the candidate’s photograph and signature. Candidates must upload a recent, clear colour passport size photograph of size 50 to 100 KB. The signature must be in running handwriting of size 30 to 50 KB.

Step 7 - Fee payment: RRB Group D 2025 application fee must be paid online through internet banking, debit/credit cards or UPI etc. The fee for unreserved category is INR 500. For candidates belonging to  PwBD / Female / Transgender / Ex-Servicemen/ SC / ST / Minority Communities / Economically Backward Class (EBC), the application fee is INR 250.

Step 8 - Submit the application: Once the fee payment process is completed, click on the submit button for the final submission of the RRB Group D 2025 application form. 

Step 9 - Print and Save: Download the final application form after submitting. Print and save the form for future reference.

RRB Group D Application 2025: Application Fee

The RRB charges an application fee for the RRB Group D examination. However, a part of this fee is refunded after the CBT. The last date for application is February 22, 2025 but the fee payment portal will be opened till February 24, 2025. RRB Group D Application 2025: Eligibility

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the RRB Group D exam. The RRB Group D eligibility 2025 is based on nationality, age and educational qualifications.

RRB Group D Eligibility 2025: Nationality

Candidates applying for the RRB Group D 2025 must be either of the following:

1. a citizen of India, or
2. a citizen of Nepal, or
3. a citizen of Bhutan, or
4. a Tibetan refugee (who came before January 1, 1962), or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam

A certificate of eligibility must have been issued by the Government of India in favour of candidates who belong to above categories 2, 3, 4 and 5.

RRB Group D Eligibility 2025: Age

 The age limit for the RRB Group D applicants is 18 to 33 years. However, for the vacancies released in 2025, the upper age limit has been increased by three years due to covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the age limit for RRB Group D 2025 is 18 to 36 years as on January 1, 2025.

There is some age relaxation for reserved categories. These categories are OBC-Non Creamy Layer/ SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-servicemen/ EWS. 

RRB Group D Eligibility 2025: Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification for RRB Group D 2025 is a 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed minimum educational/ technical qualification should not apply. 

RRB Group D Application 2025: Guidelines

Candidates must follow the instructions given below before filling the RRB Group D 2025 application form.

• All the information in the application form must be correct. 
• The conducting body will not entertain any changes after the registration.
• The application will be considered as submitted only after receiving confirmation of fee payment.
• Aadhar verification will facilitate smooth processing in exam and post exam period.
• After the final submission, the RRB allows candidates to make corrections in application form. Candidates have to pay a modification fee for it.
