RRB Group D 2026: Answer Key Out, Result Date, Pattern & Syllabus

RRB Group D 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Group D 2025 provisional answer key on February 17, 2026. The board released a revised RRB Group D examination schedule on the official website. The RRB Group D exam scheduled earlier from January 1 to 16, 2026, was held on January 8, 9, 2026 and February 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10, 2026. The RRB Group D 2026 Application Form was released on January 31, 2026, while the last date to apply was March 2, 2026. However, the last date to pay the fee was March 4, 2026. Applicants can use their registration number and password to download their call letters. The test takers are required to bring the printout of their RRB Group D 2025 Admit Card, along with a valid ID proof. 

RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2025 was released on November 19. The board also released the RRB Group D New Exam Date 2026 on November 18. The RRB Group D Exam 2025 was conducted from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026. To download the RRB Group D Admit Card 2025, applicants must keep their registration number and password ready. Make sure to go through the exam pattern and full syllabus while preparing. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for the physical efficiency test based on their scores.

What is RRB Group D 2025?

The RRB Group D exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various Level-1 posts in Indian Railways, such as Track Maintainer, Helper, Assistant, and Pointsman. The recruitment process starts with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. 

RRB Group D 2025 recruitment is meant to fill vacancies in Level - 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. This recruitment process consists of four stages: (i) Computer-Based Tests (CBT), (ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET), (iii) Document Verification (DV), and (iv) Medical Examination (ME). 

The CBT consists of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards to qualify for the PET. 

RRB Group D Admit Card 2025

RRB Group D 2025 Admit Card has been released online on the official website. The RRBs release separate admit cards for CBT and PET exams. Applicants can download their admit cards at rrb.digialm.com, using their login credentials. 

It is mandatory for the applicants to carry a hard copy of the RRB Group D 2025 admit cards on the exam day. The admit contains essential details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date, time, venue, and important instructions. The steps to download the e-call letter are as follows:

• Go to the official website of the participating RRBs/ RRCs.
• Look for the link for the CEN 08/2024 Level 1 Admit Card.
• You will be redirected to a Login page.  
• Enter your login credentials including registration number and date of birth in the box provided. 
• Enter the given captcha before clicking on the submit button.
• The RRB Group D Admit Card will appear on the screen.
• Download and print the admit card for exam day. 

RRB Group D 2025: Important Dates 

The board has released the RRB Group D 2025 new exam dates. As per the official sources, the date for CBT and result of CBT will be uploaded on the official websites of the RRBs and dates for PET, Document Verification, Medical Examination and Empanelment shall be intimated from time to time through the websites of Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs). Candidates applying for the RRB Group D 2025 must check these dates on websites from time to time.

RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2025

The RRB Group D Exam City Slip 2025 was published on November 19. The city intimation slip informs candidates about the allotted RRB Group D exam date, shift timings and city. Aspirants can download their RRB Group D City Intimation 2025 through the steps provided below.

Step 1: Go to the official portal of regional RRBs

Step 2: Click on Login and Enter your Login credentials.

Step 3: After submitting, go to tab 'City Intimation-Live'

Step 4: Check your exam city, exam date and shift timings.

Step 5: Save your city intimation slip for future use.

RRB Group D 2025: Eligibility

Candidates willing to apply for RRB Group D 2025 must meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the exam. RRB Group D 2025 eligibility criteria can be discussed under nationality, age limit and educational qualification. Applicants must check the following eligibility criteria before applying for the RRB Group D vacancy.  

• Nationality: Candidates applying for RRB Group D must be a citizen of India. 
• Age Limit: The age limit for the RRB Group D applicants is 18 to 33 years. However, for the vacancies released in 2025, the upper age limit has been increased by three years due to covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the age limit for RRB Group D 2025 is 18 to 36 years as on January 1, 2025.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants of the RRB Group D examination must have passed class 10 or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. 

RRB Group D 2025: Application Form 

The RRB Group D 2025 notification has been released on the official websites of the RRBs. With the release of notification, the application process for the examination had started. Candidates can fill the RRB Group D application form 2025 at rrbapply.gov.in. 

Candidates willing to apply for the exam must read the official RRB Group D 2025 notification. They must also fulfill all the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post that they are applying for. Applicants should have one mobile number and a valid email ID for registration. 

Application Fee: The RRB Group D 2025 application fee for unreserved category is INR 500. Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as PwBD / Female / Transgender / Ex-Servicemen/ SC / ST / Minority Communities / Economically Backward Class (EBC) have to pay an application fee of INR 250. 

RRB Group D 2025: Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for the RRB Group D 2025 must check the exam pattern. There are a total of 100 questions from mathematics, reasoning, general science and current affairs. Each correct answer fetches one mark and there is a negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer. The time duration for the exam is 90 minutes and all the questions will be objective type. RRB Group D 2025: Syllabus

RRB Group D 2025 syllabus is given in the official notification of the examination. Candidates appearing for the RRB Group D 2025 must go through the detailed syllabus before starting their exam preparation. It is divided into four sections, namely, mathematics, science, reasoning and current affairs. Candidates should thoroughly prepare each section to score well in the exam. The detailed syllabus is as given below.

Mathematics: Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc. 

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc. 

General Science: The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE). 

General Awareness on Current Affairs: Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance. 

RRB Group D 2025:Result

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon announce the RRB Group D 2025 result on its official website.Candidates will be able to view the results for both the computer based test and the physical test once each stage is completed. The RRB Group D 2025 result will be issued as a merit list, which will include the roll numbers of the candidates who qualify for the next phase. The final selection list will be declared only after all stages of the recruitment process are over
