The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the vacancy for 32,438 posts in Level - 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in the Indian Railways. What is RRB Group D 2025?
The RRB Group D exam is conducted to recruit candidates for various Level-1 posts in Indian Railways, such as Track Maintainer, Helper, Assistant, and Pointsman. The recruitment process starts with a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and a Medical Examination.
RRB Group D 2025 recruitment is meant to fill vacancies in Level - 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. This recruitment process consists of four stages: (i) Computer Based Tests (CBT) (ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (iii) Document Verification (DV) and (iv) Medical Examination (ME).
The CBT consists of questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards to qualify for the PET.

The RRB have released the RRB Group D 2025 application date. RRB Group D 2025: Eligibility
Candidates willing to apply for RRB Group D 2025 must meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the exam. RRB Group D 2025 eligibility criteria can be discussed under nationality, age limit and educational qualification. - Nationality: Candidates applying for RRB Group D must be a citizen of India.
- Age Limit: The age limit for the RRB Group D applicants is 18 to 33 years. However, for the vacancies released in 2025, the upper age limit has been increased by three years due to covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the age limit for RRB Group D 2025 is 18 to 36 years as on January 1, 2025.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants of the RRB Group D examination must have passed class 10 or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

RRB Group D 2025: Syllabus
RRB Group D 2025 syllabus is given in the official notification of the examination. Candidates appearing for the RRB Group D 2025 must go through the detailed syllabus before starting their exam preparation. RRB Group D 2025:Result
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the RRB Group D 2025 result on its official website.
