The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has declared the West Bengal HS Result 2026 on May 14, 2026, through a press conference. Following the press conference, the WBCHSE Class 12th result 2026 link has been activated on the official website of the board – result.wb.gov.in or wbchse.wb.gov.in at 11:00 AM. The board has provided SMS facility for areas with lower connectivity or for students who don’t have internet access. To check their result through SMS, students need to send a message to 58888 in WB12(Roll Number) format. West Bengal HS Result 2026: Minimum Passing Marks
To be declared pass in the West Bengal Class 12th result 2026, students need to score a minimum of 30% marks in each subject. Students also need to score atleast 30% marks in aggregate of all the subjects, and in subjects having both a theory and a practical paper, they have to pass both papers separately. Those students who fail to score the minimum passing marks in one or two subjects will be given a chance to sit in the compartment exams.
