The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has officially declared the 1st round seat allotment result for WBJEE 2025 today, September 3, 2025 on its official counselling portal– wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates who registered for WBJEE 2025 counselling can now log in with their credentials to check the status of their allotment, download the provisional letter and proceed with the seat acceptance process.
The seat allotment result is based on candidate’s WBJEE exam rank, Preference filled during counselling registration, seat availability in participating institutes. Students who have been allotted a seat in the first round are required to complete the online seat acceptance process, pay the seat acceptance fee and verify documents as per the schedule provided by WBJEE.

Key Steps After WBJEE 1st Round Seat Allotment

Step 1: Login to counselling portal: visit wbjeeb.nic.in and log in using your application number and passwords.
Step 2: Check seat Allotment: View the allotted course and institute
Step 3: Download Allotment Letter: The provisional allotment letter is available in the login dashboard
Step 4: Seat Acceptance: candidates allotted the seat in the first round must accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee.
Step 5: Documents verification: Online document verification will also be carried out during the same period. Candidates must upload all the required documents such as 12th marksheet, WBJEE rank card, domicile certificate (if applicable), caste and category certificate and all the other relevant documents.
Step 6: Willingness to Upgrade: Candidates have the option to choose between ‘freeze’ and ‘float’ .
