WBCHSE 12th Curriculum 2025-26: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has introduced five new subjects in the West Bengal HS curriculum for the upcoming academic session 2025-26 online. Students can check and download the official notification regarding the introduction of new subjects in the class 12th curriculum 2025-26 from the official website – wbche.wb.gov.in.
The official notice includes the eligibility criteria for the teachers and schools who can apply for the introduction of these subjects and the revised set structure after the incorporation of new subjects in the WBCHSE syllabus. It must be noted that the West Bengal Board officials introduced five new subjects including Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Environmental Science, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Business Mathematics and Basic Statistics, and Basic Mathematics for Social Sciences.
The West Bengal Board also said, “Two subjects, ARTI and DTSC, introduced from the academic year 2023-24 will be withdrawn and AIDS will be introduced to all schools either with ARTI or DTSC in their subject list.”

WBCHSE Class 12 Curriculum 2025-26: New subjects
Respective school authorities can apply the below-given eligibility criteria for the introduction of these new subjects in the West Bengal class 12th curriculum 2025-26.
