The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially declared the Higher Secondary (HS) Third semester examination results for the year 2025. The results were announced today, October 31, 2025, in a press conference held at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Students who appeared for the HS semester 3 exams, can now download their marksheet from the official result portal- result.wb.gov.in by entering their registration number and roll number. The WB HS Semester 3 2025 result link will be activated online at 2:00 PM.
The WB HS 2025 semester 3 results marks a significant step in the new four semester examination system implemented by the West Bengal education board. For the first time, WB Board held semester exams with mutiple choice questions. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.72 per cent. This was the first higher secondary examination held under the newly introduced four-semester system, which divides the Class 12 course into two parts — third and fourth semesters.
Students are advised to collect their original printed marksheets from their respective schools, once available, as the council does not issue printed mark sheets directly. The WB HS 2025 exam was conducted from September 8, 2025 to September 22, 2025.
