The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) registration is concluding today, i.e., March 31, 2026. Candidates can complete their VITEEE 2026 Registration on the official VITEEE website- viteee.vit.ac.in. The Vellore Institute of Technology released the VITEEE 2026 application form on October 24, last year. Students need to ensure that they go through the eligibility criteria. This is the final chance for students seeking admission in VIT institute for B.Tech programmes offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and AP Campuses, and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) at designated centres in India and abroad.
Once the VITEEE 2026 registration closes today, the VITEEE Admit Card 2026 will be released for eligible candidates. The VITEEE exam 2026 is scheduled to be held from April 28, 2026, to May 3, 2026. As per the notification, the result is scheduled to be announced in the 2nd week of May 2026, and once the results are declared, the online counselling for the same will begin in the second week of May 2026, tentatively.

VITEEE 2026 Registration: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the VITEEE exam 2026. If any candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified from the examination at any stage:
- Candidates should be a resident/ non resident/OCI/PIO holder.
- NRI candidates can apply directly through the NRI application form.
- Candidates who were born on or after July 1st, 2003, are able and eligible to fill the VITEEE exam application form. The date of birth which is mentioned in the High School Certificate will be considered original.
- Candidates who are applying for the UG engineering admission must have a minimum 60% in physics, mathematics, biology and chemistry in the qualifying exam.
VITEEE Registration 2026: How to Apply Online?
Candidates can fill out the VITEEE 2026 application form with the help of the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website- viteee.vit.ac.in
Step 2: Find the registration link for VITEEE
Step 3: Enter your email and the required details for registration
Step 4: A password login will be shared with the candidate via email. Sign in on the portal with your university email and password
Step 5: Once logged in, candidates must carefully enter all relevant information before submitting the VITEEE 2026 application form.
Upon submission, an application number will be generated. Candidates should use this application number for all future correspondence. General category candidates must pay an application fee of INR 1350 (including GST) online using Net-banking, credit card, debit card, or Paytm. NRI students must pay 90 USD online using a credit card. Requests to change mobile number, email ID, or correspondence address will not be entertained under any circumstances
