Uttar Pradesh’s Yogita Secures SSC GD AIR 45: Notes, Revision, and Family Fuel Her Success

In a heartwarming tale of grit and determination, Yogita from the village of Sheikhupur in Budaun district, Uttar Pradesh, has secured All India Rank (AIR) 45 in the SSC GD Constable 2025 results. Hailing from a farming family, Yogita’s triumph not only realises her father’s dream but also paves the way to financial stability for her future dreams.

Realising her mistakes from her first attempt, improving them, and strategising better, Yogita secured a very good rank in her second attempt at the SSC GD exam. Fighting all internal and external battles, overcoming societal pressure, and with the support of her family, Yogita becomes the first woman of her family and her village to get a government job and secure her future.

SSC GD AIR 45: What Motivated Her?

When asked about her preparation journey and what kept her motivated throughout, Yogita very rightly said that there is never one line or quote that can motivate people; it is their families’ conditions. Her father’s dream, her aim to improve her family’s conditions, and the need to buy herself financial stability and a future motivated Yogita to go against all societal pressures and difficulties and fulfil her dream of a government job.

SSC GD Preparation: Books and Sources

Yogita relied heavily on her notes. She attended classes, completed her syllabus, and made notes during her coaching at SSC Wallah. She studied for around 10 hours a day. Her preparation was all about reading and revising her notes. She emphasised that it is very important to revise what you have studied and attempt mock tests. She addressed difficult topics through various online resources, such as attending some faculty’s classes, watching videos, and reaching out to teachers.

Yogita’s Educational Background, Strengths, Overcoming Weaknesses

Yogita did her schooling at the local Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. Later, she graduated with a BSc in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), leading to Maths and reasoning becoming her strongest pillars in the SSC GD exam. Hindi, too, was a forte, aiding her language section effortlessly. 

For Yogita, General Knowledge posed a steep challenge. Realising her weak spots, Yogita attended classes, addressed difficult topics using various resources available online, and reached out to her teachers. Practice makes a woman perfect: reading notes, revising, and taking mock tests made Yogita exam-ready.

First Attempt Vs Second Attempt: Realising Her Mistake, Strategising Better

In her second attempt, Yogita realised what went wrong. She kept on taking classes, leaving her no time for revision and mock tests. Therefore, in her second attempt, she made sure to complete the SSC GD syllabus well before time and then to focus only on revision and mock tests. 

Yogita’s dream doesn’t end here. Having secured the CISF force in the SSC GD exam, she aims to fulfil her long-standing dream of becoming an IPS officer someday. Yogita stayed humble in her conversation with the Indian Express Education, crediting her success to her father’s support and her siblings’ guidance.
