The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will start the application process for the Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET) exam 2026 from today, March 27, 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the UPTET 2026 exam can submit their forms and application fees till April 26, 2026. Candidates must fill out the One Time Registration (OTR) mandatorily, as without it, applications won’t be accepted. The UPTET exam 2026 will be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026. Once the UPTET 2026 registration process is over, the conducting body will open a correction window for candidates to make corrections in their forms until May 1. The UPTET 2026 exam is held in two stages: Primary, for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5; and Upper Primary, for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8.

The Fees per paper for the General, EWS, and OBC categories are 1000 INR, for SC and ST are 500 INR, and for PwD are 300 INR.
