The Union Public Service Commission conducted the UPSC Prelims on 25th May, Sunday, 2025 Now that the prelims are over, candidates are awaiting their UPSC 2025 Results, the date of which is yet to be scheduled by the Commission but is expected to be released by the First Week of June. Once released, the candidates will be able to download it from the official website. 

The qualified candidates will be eligible to take the UPSC Mains 2025 on 22nd August. So, they should immediately start focusing on preparing themselves strategically to secure a high All India Rank in the  UPSC Exam 2025, based on the difficulty level of Prelims.

In terms of overall difficulty, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025, conducted on May 25, was perceived by many civil service aspirants as moderate to difficult. The General Studies Paper I (GS Paper I) maintained the trend of including both static and dynamic portions. The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper II, on the other hand, presented its own set of challenges. UPSC Exam 2025 – General Studies I, II Analysis

Since the GS I Paper consisted of subjects like History, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Economy, General Science, and Current Events etc, it checked the candidate’s awareness, expertise, and in-depth knowledge across these domains while the CSAT focused more on candidate’s analytical thinking and logical reasoning skills, testing how effectively they could solve complex scenarios under time constraints
