The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final merit list of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 today, March 6, 2026. The UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 is available on its official portal – upsc.gov.in for applicants to download. Candidates who appeared for this national-level competitive exam can now visit the online portal to download the merit list. The UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 Rank 1 has been obtained by Anuj Agnihotri. The result has been declared after the conclusion of the final stage of the examination, i.e., the interview round, conducted from January 5, 2026, to February 27, 2026.
As per the press note, which is published along with the UPSC CSE Final Result 2025, a total of 958 candidates have been shortlisted for the various services such as Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), and other Central Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Services. The official data released by UPSC projected that, in the UPSC CSE 2025 Exam, a total of 317 candidates qualified from the general category and 641 candidates qualified from the reserved categories.

The merit list issued along with the UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 contains the roll numbers and names of all the shortlisted candidates. Applicants can follow the steps given below to successfully download the merit list PDF online.
- Go to the UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 official website – upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the active ‘UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 PDF Download’ link present under the ‘What’s New’ section.
- The UPSC CSE Final Result 2025-26 will appear on the screen.
- Search your exam roll number or name using the ‘CTRL + F’ search shortcut method.
- Use the ‘download’ icon located in the top-right corner to download the UPSC CSE Final Result 2025 PDF.
Candidates who have been shortlisted under the merit list will soon be given their call letters and service allocation notification.
